Shalom Aleichem!

According to the Zviller yiskor book, my great-great-grandfather, Reb. Avraham Zingerman, ran a Makarover Kloiz in Pulin (Chervonoarmei'isk). The Makarover Rebbe used to visit and stay in his house, and my great-grandfather had a special room set out in which the Makarover Rebbe could receive guests. According to the Yiskor book, the Makarover Rebbe blessed the town that it should not have a fire to destroy the wooden stores in Pulin, and the people who lived there credited the brocha with preserving the buildings for decades.

My great-great-grandfather's wife was named Tzivyet, but we don't know her last name. I believe that Reb. Avraham had a brother named Ovsey.

My great-grandfather had an arranged marriage with the daughter of Duvid and Sarah Vulis from Koristychev, who was believed to be descended from the BeShT. They had several children, including my great-grandfather, Leib Zingerman, who moved to Chicago, and Leib's brother Hirsh, who stayed in Pulin. When Reb. Yankev-Yitzhak'l was niftar, my great-grandfather named one of his sons Yankev-Yitzhak'l in memory of the Makarover rebbe. He also stayed in Ukraine and died in the 1970s.

Do you know whether my great-great-grandfather was related to the Makarover Rebbe? How is it that other Makarover kloizim were functioning in other towns?

Do you know anything about the Vulis family?
